Additional parameters[edit]

Could we have "style of" as a synonym for "manner of", and "and studio" as a synonym for "and workshop", and "copy of" as a synonym for "after"? Those have been used a lot, and it's more efficient to add them here than to correct them individually. DS (talk) 16:17, 6 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

And "perhaps" as a synonym for "possibly". DS (talk) 14:48, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Request edit to documentation[edit]

{{Edit request}} On Template:Creator/documentation, please change clarifies his sometimes indirect role to clarifies their sometimes indirect role. This is to use more inclusive and gender neutral language (at least in English). –MJLTalk 00:25, 25 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@MJL: ✓ Done, thanks for pointing it out! (I also checked the German translation, and it doesn’t refer to the author using pronouns, so it already used no gendered language.) —Tacsipacsi (talk) 01:28, 25 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Edit request and a question[edit]

{{Edit request}}

  • Change text "than it is" to ", then it is".
  • Also, a question: If a creator has a user account on Commons and wants to connect their username to a creator-page on commons (or their entry on wikidata), is there a way to do that? So that such an established connection can be used to replace individual permission statements for each artwork from that user? This user here appears to be willing to establish such a connection, but unwilling to have to release files one by one (e.g. via Commons:Email templates/Consent).

Edit request fulfilled with this edit. About the question I'm not sure. Best, --Marsupium (talk) 13:43, 2 March 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thank you! I'll ask the question at the Village pump. --Bensin (talk) 23:19, 3 March 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Improve "Alternative names"[edit]

Could we add pseudonym (P742) automatically to "Alternative names" using {{name|pseudonym|<value of pseudonym (P742)>}}? Thanks in advance for any work on it! --Marsupium (talk) 13:35, 2 March 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

More than one date[edit]

There is a bug concerning lifespan dates in the title cell. If Wikidata holds more than one date the lifespan date in the title cell can depend on the order of the dates on Wikidata, an example from Creator:Vito D'Anna:

  • 4 October 1718 / 14 October 1718 / 1720 --> "1718" (I think)
  • 4 October 1718 / 1720 / 14 October 1718 --> ""

I leave this here as a note for myself or anyone else to work on in the future. Best, --Marsupium (talk) 09:07, 21 March 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
